Important Changes for Shipments to the USA Starting July 8, 2026

Starting July 8, 2026, new requirements introduced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) will apply to certain consumer products imported into the United States.

Certain goods will require mandatory electronic submission of Certificate of Compliance (CoC) data during customs clearance.

The requirements may apply to:

• children’s products,
• electronics,
• batteries,
• textiles,
• furniture,
• household goods and other consumer products.

Important:

• the requirements apply to all shipments regardless of value,
• the US Importer of Record is responsible for compliance,
• missing information may result in customs delays or shipment holds.
